Lycia City-States in Southwest Asia Minor

Lycia in Anatolia (modern-day Turkey) contained a number of independent city-states between 550 B.C. and to 330 B.C.  After conquest by Alexander the Great, some cities temporarily regained their independence until later absorbed by the Romans.
